OCS are working with a well-established and highly respected contractor operating across Demolition, Enabling Works, Civil Engineering, Remediation and Specialist Construction Services. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to appoint a Training Manager to lead and develop the company's training and competency strategy across the business.
The Role Reporting to senior leadership, you'll be responsible for:
- Developing and delivering the company's training strategy.
- Managing competency, compliance and training records.
- Coordinating internal and external training programmes.
- Supporting apprenticeships, management development and succession planning.
- Working closely with operational teams to ensure a highly skilled and compliant workforce.
About You We're keen to speak with Training Managers from Construction, Demolition, Civil Engineering, Groundworks, Infrastructure, Utilities or Specialist Subcontracting backgrounds.
You'll have:
- Experience managing training within a construction-related environment.
- Knowledge of CITB, CSCS, CPCS, NPORS and competency management.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A passion for developing people and driving continuous improvement.
