Our client is an established and growing property developer delivering high-quality housing developments across Mayo and the wider West of Ireland. With a strong pipeline of new residential schemes commencing, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead on-site delivery.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a developer with long-term regional projects and strong growth plans.
The Site Manager will have full responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
You will play a key role in coordinating subcontractors, managing site teams, and driving performance across all phases of construction through to handover.
- Manage all on-site construction activities from groundworks to completion
- Coordinate subcontractors and ensure work is delivered to programme
- Maintain strict adherence to Health & Safety standards
- Monitor build quality and ensure high finishing standards
- Liaise with Project Manager and Commercial team regarding progress and costs
- Conduct regular site meetings and toolbox talks
- Manage site logistics, materials, and plant
- Ensure compliance with Irish building regulations and BCAR requirements
- Oversee snagging, testing, commissioning, and final handover
- 5+ years’ experience as a Site Manager or Senior Foreman
- Strong residential construction background (housing preferred)
- Proven track record of delivering projects to completion
- Trade background or relevant third-level qualification
- Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and H&S legislation
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractor packages effectively
- Experience working directly for a developer
- Experience delivering multi-unit housing developments
- Familiarity with Mayo / West of Ireland construction market
- Strong finishing and handover experience
