Our client is a growing residential developer delivering high-quality housing schemes across Tipperary and the wider Munster region. With new multi-unit developments commencing, they are seeking a Site Engineer to support on-site delivery and infrastructure coordination.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer to join a developer with a strong regional pipeline.
The Role The Site Engineer will support the Site Manager and Project Manager in the day-to-day technical coordination of works on a residential development.
You will be responsible for setting out, quality control, subcontractor coordination, and ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities - Carry out setting out for groundworks, foundations, roads, drainage, and housing units
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Liaise with subcontractors and site teams to ensure accuracy of works
- Conduct quality checks and ensure high build standards
- Assist with programme tracking and reporting
- Maintain accurate site records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with Irish building regulations and BCAR requirements
- Coordinate with consulting engineers and design teams
- Support health & safety implementation on site
Requirements - 2–5 years’ experience in a Site Engineer role
- Strong residential or civil engineering background
- Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or Construction-related discipline
- Proficient in setting out using Total Station / GPS equipment
- Strong understanding of drainage, roads, and infrastructure works
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work as part of a site-based team
Desirable - Experience working directly for a developer
- Experience on multi-unit housing developments
- Familiarity with Tipperary / Munster construction market
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and relevant site software
