We are working with a well-established contractor with a strong track record across the UK and Ireland. Due to continued growth and a busy pipeline of work, they are looking to appoint a Site Engineer to support delivery on a flagship residential scheme.
The Opportunity You will join an experienced site team on a large, multi-phase residential project, gaining exposure to complex construction activities and working alongside senior management. This role offers clear progression opportunities for engineers looking to develop into senior and management positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out accurate setting out for all aspects of the works
- Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, and programme
- Assist with quality control and inspection procedures
- Coordinate with subcontractors on site to ensure timely delivery
- Support the Senior Engineer and Site Management team
- Maintain detailed site records and documentation
- Ensure strict adherence to health & safety standards
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer on residential projects
- Strong setting out skills and use of surveying equipment
- Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or related field
