A well-established and growing structural steel and construction specialist is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its team in Tipperary. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading industry contractor delivering large-scale commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects across Ireland.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage the commercial aspects of multiple projects from tender stage through to final account.
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, valuations, and financial reports.
- Negotiate contracts and subcontract agreements.
- Monitor project costs, identify risks, and implement cost-control measures.
- Manage variations, claims, and change orders.
- Liaise with project managers, site teams, clients, and subcontractors.
- Ensure accurate forecasting and reporting of project performance.
- Support the successful delivery of projects while maintaining profitability.
Requirements: - Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- 5+ years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role, preferably within construction, structural steel, engineering, or related sectors.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and commercial management.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and quantity surveying software.
