The Client
OCS Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Leading Engineering Consultancy who are on the lookout for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Cork. As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer specialising in Building Services, you will play a key role in delivering innovative and technically robust engineering solutions across a diverse range of projects in Cork.
Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate mechanical building services design activities throughout all stages of project delivery.
• Work closely with architects, engineers and other design disciplines to ensure effective integration of mechanical systems within building projects.
• Manage project programmes, design deliverables and deadlines, ensuring client requirements and expectations are consistently achieved.
• Lead and facilitate regular design coordination meetings with internal project teams, clients and external stakeholders.
• Develop and coordinate HVAC design solutions, utilising Revit MEP and AutoCAD to produce accurate and detailed engineering designs.
• Provide technical guidance and design input to ensure mechanical systems meet project specifications, industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor design progress, identify potential coordination issues and implement solutions to maintain project delivery schedules.
• Ensure mechanical design outputs are accurate, coordinated and aligned with overall project objectives.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Extensive experience in building services design.
• Chartered Engineer status is desirable.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
