My Client
I am currently hiring for a leading M&E Contractor who are on the lookout for an Electrical Engineer to work on a project in Europe.
Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive electrical design reviews to identify design gaps, discrepancies, deviations, and conflicts within drawings and specifications.
- Review and validate cable sizing calculations, providing technical recommendations and amendments where required.
- Coordinate and complete technical assessments, ensuring technical issues are identified, escalated, and resolved promptly to avoid impact on project delivery.
- Prepare, compile, and issue electrical technical submittals in accordance with project requirements.
- Manage the technical submittal and approval process, while monitoring the procurement, delivery, and receipt verification of electrical equipment.
- Attend and document regular supply chain meetings, ensuring progress is effectively monitored and maintained in line with the overall construction programme.
- Maintain and update system trackers, ensuring progress is accurately recorded and aligned with the project construction schedule.
- Collaborate with the BIM team to review electrical installations and ensure designs are fully constructible, with adequate space and access provided for installation, operation, maintenance, and future servicing of equipment and cabling.
- Liaise closely with the design team, vendors, and supply chain to ensure correct plant operation, system performance, and successful project handover.
- Conduct electrical system walk-downs to verify that installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, standards, and project quality requirements.
What Youll Need: - Third-level qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5–8+ years' electrical engineering experience, with more for a lead/senior position.
- Strong experience with LV and MV electrical systems.
