My Client 
Our client is a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering large-scale infrastructure projects across Dublin and the Greater Leinster region. With a strong pipeline of public and private sector works, they are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to lead the successful delivery of multiple civils projects.

Projects typically include roadworks, utilities, earthworks, public realm, drainage, and infrastructure schemes.

The Role
Reporting to the Operations Director, the Senior Contracts Manager will oversee multiple concurrent civil engineering projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and commercially successful delivery.

This is a strategic leadership role requiring strong operational oversight, commercial acumen, and the ability to manage senior site teams across complex infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage multiple civils projects across Dublin
  • Lead and mentor Contracts Managers, Project Managers, and Site Teams
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget
  • Drive commercial performance alongside Commercial and QS teams
  • Review contracts (Public Works Contracts, NEC, etc.) and manage risk exposure
  • Maintain strong client relationships (local authorities, utilities, developers)
  • Monitor programme performance and implement recovery strategies where required
  • Chair progress meetings and provide reporting to senior leadership
  • Ensure compliance with H&S legislation and company policies
  • Contribute to tender reviews, planning, and pre-construction strategy
Requirements
  • 10+ years’ experience in civil engineering project delivery
  • Proven experience in a Senior Contracts Manager or Contracts Manager role
  • Strong background in infrastructure, roadworks, utilities, or public realm projects
  • Third-level qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Strong knowledge of Public Works Contracts and Irish procurement processes
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong commercial and contractual awareness
Desirable
  • Experience delivering local authority or semi-state infrastructure projects
  • Chartered Engineer status (or working towards)
  • Experience managing large frameworks or multi-project portfolios
