I am currently recruiting for a Leading Contractor who are on the lookout for a Package Manager for their Project in Europe. My client work across data centres, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, commercial and industrial projects.
Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership and accountability for the assigned package from design through to completion and handover.
- Lead and manage package teams, including engineers, supervisors, planners and subcontractors.
- Develop and manage package programmes, ensuring key milestones align with the overall project schedule.
- Manage package budgets, forecasting, costs, variations and commercial performance.
- Lead the procurement and appointment of specialist subcontractors and suppliers.
- Manage subcontractor performance, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification.
- Coordinate closely with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, design team and other package leads.
- Review and approve technical submissions, drawings, specifications, RFIs and method statements.
What Youll Need:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Construction or a related discipline.
- 8–10+ years' relevant experience in mechanical construction/project delivery.
- Proven experience managing large and complex mechanical packages.
- Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers and project teams.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, drawings, specifications and installation.
