My client
I am currently hiring for a Mechanical Engineering Contractor who are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Tipperary.
Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage 3D mechanical BIM models for construction and engineering projects.
• Produce coordinated mechanical layouts, drawings, sections, details and schedules from BIM models.
• Model mechanical systems such as HVAC, pipework, plumbing, drainage and mechanical equipment, depending on the project.
• Create and maintain accurate Revit/BIM models in accordance with project requirements and BIM standards.
• Coordinate mechanical models with architectural, structural, electrical and other MEP disciplines.
• Carry out clash detection and coordination using tools such as Navisworks.
• Identify design conflicts and work with engineers and other disciplines to resolve them.
• Produce coordinated construction and installation drawings.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, MEP Engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant BIM qualification or certification is advantageous.
