OCS Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Leading Mechanical Contractor who are on the lookout for a Mechanical Engineer in Tipperary. This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to work under a company who worked a turnover of over €90Million in 2025.
Responsibilities: - Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, project specifications and quality requirements.
- Prepare, compile and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) in line with engineering drawings and project requirements.
- Coordinate fabrication activities, liaising with workshops, suppliers, subcontractors and project teams to ensure work progresses in accordance with project schedules.
- Carry out incoming material inspections, verifying material specifications, certifications, traceability and compliance with project requirements.
- Conduct fabrication inspections to ensure workmanship, dimensions, tolerances and welding quality meet required standards.
- Perform assembly and installation inspections, ensuring completed works comply with approved drawings, specifications and quality procedures.
Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field experience.
- Proficiency in 3D Model software (e.g., Navisworks, AutoCAD).
- Understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes
