The Client OCs recruitment are currently recruiting for a Mechanical contractor who are on the lookout for a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join their engineering team.
Responsibilities: - Ensure all engineering and fabrication activities comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, project specifications and quality requirements.
- Prepare and compile accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support procurement, fabrication and project execution.
- Coordinate fabrication activities, liaising with workshop teams, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure work is completed in line with project requirements and schedules.
- Carry out material inspections to verify compliance with specifications, drawings and quality standards.
- Conduct fabrication inspections to ensure workmanship, dimensional accuracy and quality requirements are maintained.
- Oversee and undertake inspections of assemblies and installations to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and project standards.
Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or a related field experience.
- Proficiency in 3D Model software (e.g., Navisworks, AutoCAD).
- Understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
