My Client
I am currently recruiting for a Leading Consultancy who are on the lookout for a Mechanical Design Engineer in the Dublin area.
Responsibilities: - Develop detailed mechanical design layouts, schematics and engineering calculations, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations and project requirements.
- Collaborate directly with clients and project engineers to establish project requirements and develop effective technical design solutions.
- Develop, implement and agree design processes, methodologies and project deliverables.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance and mentoring to Junior and Intermediate Engineers, where appropriate and depending on experience.
- Support the preparation of tender submissions, including technical reports, specifications and preliminary budget estimates.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Building Services, energy efficiency and environmental sustainability trends through relevant seminars, CPD programmes, industry events and exhibitions.
Requirements: - Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Building Services Engineering or equivalent.Ideally 5+ years’ experience in design with an engineering consultancy.
- Demonstrable experience in mechanical engineering design within a consultancy or design office environment.
- Proven ability to lead and deliver projects in compliance with relevant Building Regulations, industry standards and design codes.
