Junior Estimator
Dublin, Ireland
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Estimator to join our growing team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within the mechanical and construction industry, working alongside experienced professionals on a variety of projects.
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates for mechanical projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and pipework systems
- Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents
- Perform quantity take-offs and pricing of materials and labour
- Support senior estimators in preparing tender submissions
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations
- Maintain accurate records of estimates and project documentation
- Contribute to value engineering and cost-saving initiatives
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general IT skills
- Good communication and organisational abilities
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Previous experience (internship or placement) in estimating or construction
- Familiarity with mechanical services or building services engineering
