Overview
An international contractor delivering large-scale data centre and infrastructure projects is seeking a EHS Manager to join a major data centre construction project in Austria. This role will suit someone early in their health & safety career who is looking to gain hands-on experience on a large, technically complex project.


Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site safety inspections and observations
• Assist with reviewing and monitoring Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
• Help ensure site activities comply with project safety standards and local regulations
• Assist with incident, accident, and near miss reporting and investigations
• Support the delivery of site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings
• Monitor subcontractor compliance with site safety requirements
• Maintain and update EHS documentation, records, and reports
• Work closely with site teams to promote safe working practices across the project

Requirements

• Minimum 3 year’s experience working on civil engineering or construction projects
• EU Passport – essential due to project location
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Proactive approach with the ability to work as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and develop within a fast-paced project environment

Desirable

• Health & Safety qualification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent
• Experience working on large construction or infrastructure projects
• Previous exposure to data centre projects
