OCS Recruitment is currently partnering with a leading Irish specialist contractor within the roofing, cladding, and façade sector to recruit multiple Health & Safety Advisors.

Our client has an established presence across Ireland, the UK, and mainland Europe, delivering high-quality, complex projects across commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, healthcare, digital infrastructure, and residential sectors.

With strong director-led oversight on every project, the organisation is recognised for delivering mission-critical, high-value developments safely, on programme, and to a defect-free standard.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing international team working on major European projects across multiple sites.

Role Overview As a Health & Safety Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that all projects are delivered safely and to the highest standards. You will work closely with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors across various European locations.

This position offers exposure to complex, high-profile construction environments and the opportunity to influence and strengthen safety culture across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote and drive health and safety best practices across multiple active projects
  • Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks
  • Collaborate with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to implement safe systems of work
  • Monitor health & safety performance and report findings to senior management
  • Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented
  • Foster and maintain a strong, positive safety culture across all sites
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related discipline, with a recognised professional qualification (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a Health & Safety advisory role within construction
  • Experience in roofing, cladding, or façade projects is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of EU and local health & safety legislation and regulations
  • Proven ability to influence and lead on-site teams to maintain high safety standards
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and travel across European sites as required
  • Currently based in Europe with a valid European passport
  • Valid driving licence for site travel
  • Proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach with a strong commitment to safety culture
