Job Title: European HSE Advisor - Data Centre Projects (Construction Sector)

About the Role
We're seeking an experienced European HSE Advisor to support large-scale data centre construction project in Austria. 

Rotation Schedule subject to client needs,
Sample schedule: 2 weeks on / 1 week off or 10/4

The successful candidate will ensure the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) compliance across all worksites, supporting diverse project teams while promoting a strong safety culture throughout the organisation.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular HSE audits, inspections, and risk assessments across European project sites.
• Implement and maintain safety management systems and safe systems of work.
• Lead safety inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training.
• Monitor compliance with Irish, EU, and local legislation and company policies.
• Investigate incidents, report findings, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate HSE documentation, records, and performance data.
• Drive continuous improvement and promote best practice in all aspects of HSE management.
• Liaise effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients on safety matters.
• Support ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 compliance and audits.

Requirements

• Minimum 1+ years' experience in a Health, Safety & Environment role, ideally in construction, roofing, cladding, or data centre environments.
• Recognised HSE qualification (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent).
• In-depth understanding of Irish and EU HSE legislation.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
• Proven ability to work independently across multiple sites and jurisdictions.
• Flexibility to travel extensively across Europe on rotation.
• Full right to work in the EU.
