The client OCS Recruitment are currently looking for an Electrical Engineer to join a well-established engineering Consultancy delivering complex projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer to contribute to the design, coordination and delivery of electrical systems on a variety of technically challenging projects. Working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will be involved in all stages of project execution, from initial design and planning through installation, testing and commissioning.
Responsibilities: - Assist in the design, development and implementation of electrical engineering systems across assigned projects.
- Prepare and review electrical drawings, technical specifications, equipment schedules and associated documentation.
- Coordinate electrical works with mechanical, structural and other engineering disciplines to ensure effective project integration.
- Support the planning and delivery of electrical installation works in line with project requirements and agreed schedules.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors to resolve technical queries and ensure project objectives are achieved.
- Review technical submissions, equipment selections and design proposals to ensure compliance with specifications and relevant standards.
Requirements: - Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in an electrical engineering role within construction, building services, industrial engineering or a similar technical environment.
- Good understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, containment, cabling and associated infrastructure.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
