OCS Recruitment is representing a well-established and quality-driven construction and building services contractor seeking to appoint an . This role plays a key part in ensuring project delivery excellence with a strong emphasis on safety, compliance, sustainability and people-focused culture.
As an , you will support the company's EHS function on site and across projects, working closely with the EHS Manager and operational teams. You'll help uphold legal compliance, embed safety best practice, and contribute to continuous improvement of safety systems and project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant and standards.
- Collaborate with the EHS team to support compliance with management systems.
- Prepare and maintain .
- Manage statutory notifications (e.g., AF2 to HSA) and .
- Write and review .
- Conduct regular .
- Approve subcontractor safety documentation and conduct safety performance reviews.
- Deliver .
- Attend relevant site and management meetings and contribute to reporting.
- Support preparation of Pre-Qualification documentation and other EHS deliverables as required.
- Third-level qualification in or an equivalent recognised discipline.
- A minimum of working in health & safety within the construction sector — ideally with experience supporting main contractor operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to engage effectively at all organisational levels.
- Strong documentation skills with accuracy and professionalism.
- Experience using EHS and project management software (e.g., Procore, iAuditor) is a valuable advantage.
- Demonstrable planning, organisational and teamwork skills.
- Experience working in live environments such as commercial, educational or similar construction sites is preferable.
