An established and growing specialist construction contractor is seeking an organised and detail oriented Document Controller to support the successful delivery of multiple façade and building envelope projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team working on high profile commercial and residential developments across Ireland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project documentation, ensuring all drawings, technical submissions, quality records and project correspondence are accurately controlled, distributed and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities - Manage and maintain all project documentation using electronic document management systems.
- Control the issue, receipt, distribution and filing of drawings, technical submissions, RFIs, specifications and project correspondence.
- Ensure documents are correctly version controlled and issued to the relevant internal teams, clients and subcontractors.
- Maintain accurate document registers and monitor document status throughout each project.
- Support project managers and site teams with document control processes and reporting.
- Coordinate the submission of technical documentation, approvals and handover information.
- Assist with the preparation of Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals and project close-out documentation.
- Ensure all documentation complies with company procedures, client requirements and quality standards.
- Liaise with architects, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely document flow.
- Archive completed project documentation in accordance with company procedures.
Skills & Experience - Previous experience in a Document Controller or Project Administrator role, ideally within construction, engineering or the façade/building envelope sector.
- Experience using document management systems such as Procore, Asite, Aconex, Viewpoint or similar is advantageous.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive, team oriented approach with the ability to work independently when required.
