About the Role
An international project and cost management consultancy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cost Consultant to join its growing Dublin team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile construction and real estate developments across sectors including commercial, residential, life sciences, infrastructure, and data centres.
The successful candidate will support the delivery of cost management services from project inception through to completion, working closely with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare cost plans, estimates, and tender documentation
  • Assist with procurement and contractor selection processes
  • Manage valuations, variations, and final accounts
  • Conduct cost reporting and financial forecasting throughout project lifecycles
  • Support project budgeting and value engineering exercises
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure commercial objectives are achieved
  • Monitor project costs and identify commercial risks and opportunities
  • Ensure all work is delivered to a high professional standard and in line with industry best practice
Candidate Requirements
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline
  • 2–6 years’ experience in cost consultancy or quantity surveying
  • Experience working on construction or real estate projects in Ireland or the UK
  • Strong understanding of cost management principles and procurement methods
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within project teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and cost management software
  • Membership or progress toward membership with SCSI/RICS is desirable
