Construction Administrator

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Construction Administrator to support a busy construction team based in Dublin. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day administration of construction projects, supporting site teams, project managers, and office operations to maintain efficiency and compliance across all activities.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to construction project teams and site staff
  • Manage and maintain project documentation, including drawings, contracts, permits, and compliance records
  • Coordinate site paperwork such as timesheets, delivery dockets, plant records, and reports
  • Assist with preparing reports, meeting minutes, and project updates
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and documentation flow
  • Support health & safety administration, including induction records and compliance tracking
  • Assist in procurement administration, including purchase orders and invoice processing
  • Maintain accurate filing systems (digital and physical) for all project documentation
  • Support project managers with scheduling, reporting, and general coordination tasks
Requirements
  • Previous experience in an administrative role within the construction industry (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of construction site processes and documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Desirable Skills
  • Familiarity with construction management software (e.g. Procore, Aconex, or similar)
  • Knowledge of Irish construction regulations and compliance standards
  • Experience supporting multiple live projects simultaneously
