Overview Our client, a
well-established and respected construction contractor, is seeking an organised and detail-oriented
Site Clerk to join their team on a busy construction project in Ashbourne, Meath.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional to work alongside an experienced site management team, supporting day-to-day operations and ensuring efficient administrative and site coordination.
Key Responsibilities - Maintain accurate and up-to-date site documentation, including drawings, timesheets, delivery records, and attendance logs.
- Assist with the coordination and scheduling of deliveries and materials.
- Ensure all site paperwork is properly filed and readily available for management, inspections, and audits.
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Support site management with administrative tasks such as correspondence, data entry, and maintaining the site diary.
- Monitor stock levels and manage the ordering of materials as required.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by maintaining records and assisting the site team with safety protocols.
- Act as a key point of contact between site staff, head office, and subcontractors.
- Prepare regular reports on site progress, issues, and documentation status.
Requirements - Leaving Certificate (or equivalent) minimum.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar administrative or site support role within the construction industry.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and general office management software.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
- Knowledge of construction processes, terminology, and documentation is an advantage.
- Valid Safe Pass certification (or willingness to obtain).
