Senior Quantity Surveyor Location: Dublin
A well-established construction and civil engineering contractor with a strong pipeline of work in the Greater Dublin Area is seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team.
This is a senior role offering significant responsibility across a range of high-quality projects, working closely with project managers and senior leadership to ensure strong commercial performance from pre-contract through to final account.
Key Responsibilities: - Full commercial management of projects from tender to final account
- Preparation, negotiation, and agreement of subcontract packages
- Cost planning, forecasting, and monthly valuations
- Management of variations, claims, and risk
- Reporting on project financial performance to senior management
- Mentoring and supporting junior commercial staff where required
Requirements: - Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Minimum 7-10 years' experience in a main contractor or civil engineering environment
- Proven experience managing large-scale projects
- Strong contractual and commercial awareness
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a senior management team
