Role Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee the commercial management of multiple construction projects across the North West and West of Ireland. This pivotal role involves managing all cost-related aspects from pre-construction through to project completion, ensuring financial objectives are met while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.   
Key Responsibilities  - Cost Management: Oversee the preparation and management of tender submissions, cost plans, and budgets.
  - Procurement: Lead subcontractor procurement processes, including selection, negotiations, and contract management.
  - Valuations & Accounts: Prepare and submit accurate interim valuations, manage variations, and settle final accounts.
  - Financial Reporting: Monitor project costs, cash flows, and budgets, providing regular commercial reports to senior management.
  - Contract Administration: Advise on contracts, change management, and risk mitigation strategies.
  - Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure strong financial performance and value-driven procurement.
  - Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
  
 Requirements  - A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  - A minimum of 6 years experience in a Quantity Surveying role, preferably within the Irish construction industry.
  - Proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects.
  - Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and industry best practices.
  - Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  - Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  - Membership with a professional body such as the SCSI or RICS is desirable.
