Key Responsibilities: - Manage the end-to-end procurement process for construction materials, subcontractors, and services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and ensure consistent quality and reliability.
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply chain developments to optimize procurement strategies.
- Collaborate with project managers and site teams to anticipate material requirements and delivery schedules.
- Evaluate supplier performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate procurement records, including budgets, orders, and invoices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and relevant legislation.
Requirements: - Proven experience as a purchaser, ideally within construction, property development, or related industries.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management, and materials sourcing.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with procurement or ERP software is advantageous.
- Relevant qualifications in supply chain, purchasing, or construction management preferred.
