An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Senior Meeting & Events Sales Executive to join the Meetings & Events team of a prestigious 5-star hotel in South Dublin. This elegant property, set amid landscaped gardens and mature woodlands overlooking Dublin Bay, is renowned for its exceptional service and luxurious surroundings.
 
About the Role
As part of the hotel's dynamic Meetings & Events sales team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while achieving revenue and service goals. This position requires a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in building strong client relationships.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage incoming enquiries and prepare detailed quotations and proposals
  • Issue contracts and maintain accurate client files in line with hotel standards
  • Coordinate client meetings and oversee event details from enquiry to completion
  • Handle amendments and updates efficiently, ensuring client satisfaction
  • Monitor decision dates and maintain regular activity reports
  • Support team targets by maximising revenue through effective upselling and attention to detail
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by providing courteous and professional service at all times
Ideal Candidate
  • Passionate about hospitality and delivering excellent service
  • Strong communicator with a professional and approachable manner
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively
  • Flexible in working hours and able to adapt to changing demands
  • Positive, proactive attitude and a collaborative team player
  • Previous experience in a similar sales or events role within hospitality is an advantage
