About the Role   Our client, a leading main contractor with an expanding pipeline of residential projects across Dublin, is seeking a 
Senior Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Advisor to join their team on a residential development in Dublin 7.
 This is a pivotal role for an experienced safety professional who thrives in a dynamic site environment and can take ownership of health, safety and environmental standards across a multi-phase residential project.   
Key Responsibilities  - Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of the project-specific Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) plan.
  - Conduct regular site audits, inspections, and compliance checks, ensuring adherence to statutory requirements and company procedures.
  - Prepare and maintain risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and safe systems of work.
  - Deliver H&S inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions for staff and subcontractors.
  - Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; produce detailed reports and implement corrective actions.
  - Monitor subcontractor compliance with site safety requirements and documentation.
  - Promote and embed a strong culture of safety and environmental awareness across the project team.
  - Liaise with client representatives, consultants, and regulatory bodies as required.
  - Maintain accurate and up-to-date HSE documentation, records, and reports.
  - Provide leadership and mentorship to junior EHS staff on site.
  
 Candidate Requirements  - Degree or Diploma in Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
  - Minimum 3+ years' experience in a Health & Safety role, ideally with main contractor experience on large residential or commercial projects.
  - In-depth knowledge of Irish H&S legislation, Codes of Practice, and construction regulations.
  - Proven track record in managing safety on busy, multi-contractor sites.
  - Strong communication, training, and leadership skills.
  - Ability to influence, challenge, and drive best practice in a fast-paced environment.
  - Chartered membership of IOSH (or working towards) would be an advantage.
