Health & Safety Officer for a new apartment accommodation project in
County Limerick, set to commence in
April 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic construction project from the ground up, ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and welfare on site.
Key Responsibilities - Implement, monitor, and enforce health & safety policies and procedures across the apartment construction site.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with statutory and company requirements.
- Assist project teams with risk assessments, method statements, and safe work procedures.
- Participate in incident and near‑miss investigations, following up on corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain health & safety documentation, reports, and statutory records.
- Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training support to site personnel.
- Liaise closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to foster a positive safety culture.
Required Qualifications & Skills - Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Construction Safety, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Knowledge of construction health & safety legislation and best practices.
- Exposure to apartment or housing construction projects.
- Strong communication, organisational, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse site teams.
- Valid driver's licence advantageous.
