The Role - We are seeking an ambitious, driven, and people-focused Recruitment Consultant to take ownership of our thriving hot construction desk in Fermoy. This is a significant opportunity with a strong portfolio of clients, live vacancies, and an established candidate database — giving you a running start from day one.
- You’ll be responsible for end-to-end recruitment, from business development and client relationship management to candidate sourcing, screening, and placement.
- You will receive on the job mentoring from senior management and will be given all the tools necessary to allow you to become an expert in your field and to become an invaluable member of our close-nit team.
Key Responsibilities - Manage and grow an active construction recruitment desk with existing client relationships.
- Build and maintain long-term partnerships with clients, understanding their hiring needs and industry challenges.
- Source, interview, and assess high-calibre candidates using multiple channels including the OCS database, Indeed, LinkedIn and further jobs boards.
- Proactively match candidates to suitable roles and manage the recruitment process through to offer and placement.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to compliance and GDPR requirements.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, legislation, and talent demands.
What We’re Looking For - You will ideally have at least 1 years’ recruitment experience
- Ideally Degree-Qualified (not essential)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
