About the Role An established and fast-growing Tier 2 contractor is seeking a 
motivated Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. With a strong pipeline of projects across the Leinster region, this is a fantastic opportunity for a QS looking to progress their career within a dynamic and supportive environment.
 You’ll work on a variety of medium to large-scale projects across sectors including residential, commercial, educational, and industrial. The role offers real career progression opportunities, mentorship, and the chance to play a key part in project delivery from early stages through to final account. 
Key Responsibilities  - Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets and cost plans
  - Oversee procurement processes, including subcontractor engagement and evaluation
  - Prepare valuations, variations, and final accounts
  - Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project timelines
  - Liaise with clients, site teams, subcontractors, and senior management
  - Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings to track and report on project status
  - Assist with value engineering and risk management strategies
  - Support senior commercial staff in financial reporting and forecasting
  
 Ideal Candidate  - Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field
  - 3+ years’ experience in a QS role, ideally with a main contractor in Ireland
  - Strong knowledge of the Irish construction industry, contracts, and regulations
  - Proficient in Microsoft Office and QS-specific software (e.g., Cubit, Buildsoft, or equivalent)
  - Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
  - Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  - Full Irish/EU driving licence (site travel required)
