Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join a busy construction team in Galway. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation.
- Conduct site visits to measure and value works, ensuring accuracy in valuations and progress claims.
- Monitor project budgets, track variations, and provide accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Manage procurement processes, including subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Assist in contract administration and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve cost and contract issues efficiently.
- Prepare regular reports on project financial performance for senior management and clients.
Requirements: - Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction projects, ideally within commercial, residential, or mixed-use developments.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with cost management software is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a busy project team.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
