OCS Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced
Quality Lead to join a growing off-site manufacturing operation based in
Longford and surrounding areas. This is a key leadership role within the organisation, responsible for
driving quality standards, systems, and continuous improvement across manufacturing and project delivery.
The Role The Quality Lead will take ownership of the
Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure all products and processes meet company, client, and regulatory requirements. This position will suit a quality professional with experience in manufacturing or construction environments who is comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, production, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and maintain the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001 and company standards
- Drive a strong quality culture across manufacturing, production, and site activities
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, building regulations, and client requirements
- Plan and lead internal audits, supplier audits, and support external audits
- Manage non-conformances, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventative actions
- Develop and implement quality plans, ITPs, and inspection regimes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across processes and products
- Provide quality leadership, coaching, and support to site and factory teams
- Produce quality reports and metrics for senior management
Requirements - Degree or Diploma in Quality, Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline
- Proven experience as a Quality Advisor or Quality Document Controller.
- Background in off-site manufacturing, construction, modular, or engineering environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management principles
- Experience managing audits, NCRs, and quality improvement programmes
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Hands-on, proactive approach with strong problem-solving ability
