About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to join our team in the construction sector. This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of experience in construction or a related field who is looking to grow their career in procurement and supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities: - Assist in sourcing and ordering materials, tools, and equipment required for construction projects.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and stock levels.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, track orders, and ensure timely deliveries.
- Support the procurement team in evaluating suppliers and managing vendor relationships.
- Help monitor budgets and ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to purchasing, including preparing reports and documentation.
Requirements: - 1-2 years of experience in construction, building materials, or related purchasing/procurement roles.
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and processes is advantageous.
