The Role We are recruiting for a Project Quantity Surveyor to join a leading demolition contractor delivering high-profile, complex projects in Central London. This role offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging schemes with a business recognised for excellence and innovation in the demolition sector.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all commercial aspects of demolition projects from procurement through to final account.
Prepare and manage budgets, cost plans, and valuations.
Oversee subcontractor accounts, procurement, and contract administration.
Work closely with project teams to monitor costs, risks, and variations.
Provide accurate and timely reporting to senior management.
Ensure compliance with contractual and legal requirements.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years' demolition experience in a quantity surveying role.
A relevant commercial degree (e.g., Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management).
Strong understanding of demolition methodologies and associated risks/costs.
Experience working on complex projects, ideally in Central London or similar urban environments.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a collaborative team.
