My Client

My Client are one of Ireland's leading multidisciplinary construction company with experience in the Retail, Commercial , Residential Hotel & Leisure and Fitout industries who are on the lookout for a Project Manager for a nursing home project in Tralee, County Kerry for September 2025. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the successful completion of the project, adhering to budget, timeline, safety and quality standards.
The role will include;
  • Responsibility for the management, coordination and execution of the scope of works for each project, whilst meeting the project objectives set out for EHS, design, technical, quality, programme and commercial.
  • Coordinate and monitor and review construction drawings, specifications and work requirements.
  • Allocate and manage resources to ensure that they are available when they are needed throughout the construction projects
  • Determine the necessary equipment, materials, and manpower needed
  • Manage quality control for the lifecycle of the project and ensure all project documentation is managed correctly
  • Ensure material and equipment are ordered and delivered according to schedule
  • Prepare reports on Project Management Software
  • Modify and update the project programme with senior management to ensure key milestones are met.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Legislation
  • Ensure compliance with BC(A)R
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects and key team members of the project team
Qualifications:
  • Third Level Qualification in relevant Construction Discipline
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Background in engineering is desirable.
  • Have at least 5 years relevant experience in a similar role
  • Background in engineering is desirable.
  • Proven ability to advise clients and design teams on value, risks, and programme in a holistic way
  • Have excellent communication, interpersonal skills and negotiation skills
  • Committed to working as part of a team and progress career development
  • Be motivated, organised and have excellent time management skills
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams
  • Be tech savvy and have good computer skills
  • Good knowledge of construction material and processes
  • Be able to multitask with a strong understanding of core manager duties
