A leading specialist contractor is seeking an experienced
Project Manager to deliver complex
demolition projects, with a strong focus on
Cut & Carve and Top-Down schemes across London and the South East.
This is a key delivery role, suited to a Project Manager who thrives in technically challenging environments and has a proven background in
high-risk, constrained demolition works.
The Role As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful planning and delivery of demolition projects from pre-start through to completion, working closely with commercial, engineering, and site teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the end-to-end delivery of Cut & Carve and Top-Down demolition projects
- Planning and coordinating works in complex, live, and constrained environments
- Managing site teams, subcontractors, and specialist suppliers
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders
- Overseeing temporary works, sequencing, and methodology
- Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
About You To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within demolition
- Strong knowledge of Cut & Carve and Top-Down demolition techniques
- An engineering background (civil, structural, or similar) is advantageous but not essential
- Experience managing complex urban or structural demolition projects
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- The confidence to take ownership of technically demanding projects
