We are seeking a Payroll & Accounts Administrator to manage weekly payroll, VAT preparation, subcontractor payments, and Revenue compliance in a busy construction environment. This is a hands-on role requiring accuracy, organisation, and experience with Irish payroll and accounting processes.
Key Duties
Process weekly payroll, including timesheets, overtime, pensions, and payslips
Maintain employee records and submit payroll data through ROS
Upload and categorise invoices and receipts using Dext
Reconcile bank statements and allocate transactions correctly
Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring correct VAT treatment
Apply and manage Relevant Contracts Tax (RCT) for subcontractors
Register subcontractor payments and contracts on ROS
Monitor Revenue deadlines, charges, and correspondence
Requirements
Previous experience in payroll and accounts in Ireland
Strong working knowledge of ROS, PAYE, VAT, and RCT
Experience using Dext and accounting software
High attention to detail and ability to meet weekly and monthly deadlines
Construction sector experience an advantage
