The Role A Managing Quantity Surveyor to join the team in the Dublin office. Your role will include;
Liaise with the project team
Identify and select subcontractors and suppliers in accordance with project budgets.
Appointment of subcontractors including formal order placing.
Produce overall project budget for approval by Commercial Director
Provide input into the selection of plant and equipment for the project.
Notify any area of additional costs in accordance with the conditions of contract
Attend site meetings, internal review meetings, subcontractors meeting as required.
Undertake comprehensive financial analysis of the project performance on a regular bases and report finding to Commercial Director
Prepare variation costing and agree same with Design team as the works progress.
Preparation of project final account
The Requirements
Third level degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
At least 5 yrs in a commercial role.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
