The Role: My client are seeking a motivated
Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their civils team, working on essential
water infrastructure projects across Cork and Limerick. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate QS with some industry experience to develop their career with a market-leading contractor.
Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the management of project costs from tender through to final account.
- Support with procurement, subcontractor management, and valuations.
- Prepare reports, cost forecasts, and cash flow projections.
- Assist senior QS staff in handling variations, claims, and risk management.
- Work closely with site teams to ensure commercial and contractual compliance.
Requirements: - A relevant commercial degree (e.g., Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management).
- Ideally placement experience or at least 6 months’ surveying experience (civils experience advantageous).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Good communication and organisational abilities.
- Ambitious, proactive, and eager to progress within the civils sector.
