Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic construction team in Limerick. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing project costs, preparing estimates, and ensuring financial control across a variety of construction projects. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation for construction projects.
  • Monitor project budgets and provide regular cost reports to the project team.
  • Assist in procurement, including evaluating contractor and supplier quotations.
  • Manage contract administration, including preparation of variation orders and interim valuations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
  • Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and provide value engineering input.
  • Maintain accurate records of all project costs and financial documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company procedures.
Requirements:
  • Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar quantity surveying role, ideally within the Irish construction sector.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost management practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant cost management software.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
