Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic construction team in Limerick. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing project costs, preparing estimates, and ensuring financial control across a variety of construction projects. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation for construction projects.
Monitor project budgets and provide regular cost reports to the project team.
Assist in procurement, including evaluating contractor and supplier quotations.
Manage contract administration, including preparation of variation orders and interim valuations.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and provide value engineering input.
Maintain accurate records of all project costs and financial documentation.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company procedures.
Requirements:
Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.
3-5 years of experience in a similar quantity surveying role, ideally within the Irish construction sector.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost management practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant cost management software.
Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
