Health & Safety Advisor - Dublin & Kildare (Gas Projects) We are currently seeking a proactive
Health & Safety Advisor to support a leading infrastructure contractor across gas-related projects in the Dublin and Kildare regions. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to join a dynamic team and play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and compliance on site.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day health & safety support and guidance across multiple projects.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Promote a strong safety culture by engaging with site teams and subcontractors.
- Assist with the development, review, and implementation of health & safety policies, procedures, and method statements.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, producing detailed reports with recommendations.
- Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and safety training sessions.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and industry best practice.
Requirements:
- Level 7 or higher degree, diploma, or certificate in Health & Safety (or related discipline).
- Previous experience in a Health & Safety role within construction, utilities, or civil engineering.
- Gas industry experience is an advantage but not essential - full training and support will be provided.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
- Full driving licence and flexibility to travel across project sites in Dublin and Kildare.
