About the Role
Our client, a long-established construction company with a strong track record across Ireland, is seeking a Health & Safety Officer to join their expanding Dublin / Eastern Region Safety Team.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for a degree-qualified Health & Safety professional with proven experience in the construction sector to advance their career. You will work closely with senior management, gaining exposure across a wide variety of project types, while developing specialist expertise in Health & Safety in Construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure safety is prioritised across all sites.
  • Maintain a strong health & safety record and promote a positive safety culture.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and act on health & safety conditions, providing guidance on prevention and improvements.
  • Advise and assist in staff training and development on health & safety matters.
  • Support and participate in company health & safety audits and attend meetings as required.
  • Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and update safety statements.
  • Monitor and contribute to the development of company policies.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Degree qualification in Health & Safety.
  • Minimum 3 years' construction site experience.
  • Proven track record of accident-free site management.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 18001 and SafeT Cert (advantageous).
  • Strong knowledge of H&S legislation and procedures, with experience maintaining policies and updating best practice guidelines.
  • Experience preparing tender documentation and pre-qualifications (advantageous).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills and computer proficiency (MS Office, databases, project and presentation software).
  • Full, clean driver's licence (required).
