Overview: We're recruiting a proactive Health & Safety Officer for a leading construction and fit‑out firm, known for its award-winning safety culture and excellence across new builds, refurbishments, and clean‑room projects.
Key Responsibilities: - Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety regulations through regular inspections and audits.
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures specific to construction projects.
- Conduct Tool Box talks and safety training programs to educate employees and subcontractors.
- Prepare and review Safe Plans of Action (SPA) and Method Statements (RAMS) for construction tasks.
- Assist in hazard assessments, risk evaluations, and incident investigations.
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement through active employee participation and safety committee meetings.
- Support the analysis of safety performance data and contribute to improvement plans.
Professional Background: - Significant experience in environmental health and safety within the construction industry.
- Grounded experience in Ireland, with an advantage for experience in controlled environments, data centres, and pharmaceutical projects.
- Strong understanding of EHS regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficient in safety training and hazard identification.
