Job Title: Health & Safety Officer

About the Role: OCS Recruitment is currently partnering with a leading civil engineering contractor to recruit a motivated and skilled Health & Safety Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and ensure the highest standards of safety across multiple civil engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide guidance and support to project teams on all health and safety matters.
- Monitor site activities, ensuring full compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures.
- Conduct site inspections and follow up on corrective actions.
- Prepare and review H&S documentation including RAMS, H&S Plans, Lift Plans, and related documents.
- Lead or participate in accident and incident investigations.
- Deliver and coordinate safety training as required.
- Compile and present H&S reports and statistics for management.
Minimum Requirements: - Relevant Health & Safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Health & Safety within civil engineering.
- Excellent communication, IT, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Full understanding of civil engineering works and site practices.
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and eager to develop professionally.
- Full clean driving licence.
