Our client, a
leading construction and civil engineering contractor, is seeking an experienced and proactive
Health & Safety Officer to join their growing team in Dublin.
As part of their continued expansion across Ireland, they are looking for a dedicated professional who shares their commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and wellbeing across all projects.
The Role The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting project teams to ensure safe systems of work, regulatory compliance, and a strong safety culture across multiple sites in the Dublin region.
Key Responsibilities - Carry out regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety legislation and company standards.
- Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and safety briefings to site teams.
- Investigate and report on incidents, near misses, and non-conformances.
- Assist project teams in preparing risk assessments and method statements.
- Promote continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental performance.
Requirements - Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Health & Safety role within the construction industry.
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent) essential.
- Strong knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation and best practices.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
- Full driving licence required.
