Construction EHS Advisor – Residential Project (Meath) Location: Meath
Employment Type: Full-time, On-site
About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Construction EHS Advisor to join their team on a large-scale residential development project in Meath. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a safety professional with solid construction experience to play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance across site operations.
The successful candidate will be self-sufficient, proactive, and confident in embedding within an existing project team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established developer and contribute to a long-term residential project involving low and medium-density developments, including timber-framed homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental (EHS) regulations and company procedures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and address potential hazards.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain effective safety management systems and site-specific safety plans.
  • Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and ongoing training to promote a positive safety culture.
  • Work closely with site management, subcontractors, and external stakeholders to uphold best practice safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate EHS documentation, reporting, and incident tracking.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4+ years’ experience in a similar EHS role within the construction industry.
  • Proven residential experience — essential exposure to both low and medium-density housing, including timber-framed builds.
  • Diploma (or higher) in Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental Management or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of construction safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively within a busy project environment.
What’s on Offer
  • Long-term opportunity with an established project pipeline. Current project projected to 2 years. Permanent position.
  • Competitive salary package commensurate with experience.
  • Chance to work with a leading team on a significant residential development in Meath.
