The Role We are currently recruiting a 
Health & Safety Advisor for a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering projects nationwide. This role is suited to an ambitious professional with a solid background in Irish construction who is seeking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation.   
Key Responsibilities  - Support the roll-out and implementation of the company's Health & Safety Management System across project sites.
  - Carry out regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
  - Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and training sessions to site personnel.
  - Assist with the preparation and review of Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and other safety documentation.
  - Record and report on incidents, accidents, and near-misses, ensuring follow-up actions are taken.
  - Act as a key point of contact on safety matters for site teams, subcontractors, and clients.
  - Promote and embed a positive health and safety culture across all projects.
  
 Requirements  - Minimum Level 7 qualification (or above) in Health & Safety, Environmental, or related discipline.
  - At least 2 years' experience in a Health & Safety role within the Irish construction sector.
  - In-depth knowledge of Irish health, safety, and environmental legislation.
  - Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage site teams.
  - Organised, proactive, and detail-focused approach.
  - Full clean driver's licence (company vehicle provided).
  - Flexibility to travel nationwide with overnight stays (accommodation provided).
