Group Sales Manager
This role is based for 2 hotels in the collection to specialise in Sales for Leisure & Golf.
  
The Role
The Sales Manager is responsible for managing all sales operations for the Collection along with the Group Director of Sales.  They are responsible for planning and executing sales product development programs that will meet pre-determined targets and increase our market share.
The Sales Manager is key in identifying key markets, stay in tune of emerging trends, and collaborate with regional sales teams. Their duties include identifying new sales opportunities, meeting sales targets, and estimating sales profit for products. 
    
Job Spec:
  • Develops relationships within community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities
  • Initialize and implement annual sales plans for the Collection in conjunction with Director of Sales plans and examine the trends and outcomes that emerge from these implementations
  • Work with the Sales Director to put in place clear business plans for Key Account development and a clear sales strategy to cover key contracts and reviewed on an ongoing basis
  • Introduce new business with client’s contacts and through sales initiatives.
  • Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.
  • Identifies new business to achieve revenue goals.
  • Foreseeing and avoiding stagnation in the marketplace
  • To plan time effectively to meet call mix targets with both cold calling/prospecting and current clients
  
Candidate requirements
  • A proven track record in sales
  • Advantage with leisure & golf sales.
  • Ability to develop, manage and implement strategy and plans for the collection
  • Thorough understanding of the importance of customer experience and uncompromising standards of excellence
  • Enthusiastic and creative
  • Strong organisational, strategic planning, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Proactive disposition – anticipation of challenges and mitigation of risks
  • Great communication skills – ability to clearly communicate with suppliers, management and staff across a variety of nationalities and experience levels
  • Energetic, friendly, approachable, professional, courteous and well groomed
  • Understands the overall market - competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them.
  • Analytic ability number-oriented individuals with a well-developed business sense.
