Role Overview
Our client are seeking a motivated Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding commercial team. Based in Meath, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the delivery of civils and infrastructure projects across Dublin and the surrounding region.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate to build a career in cost management and commercial control, working on large-scale infrastructure developments including roads, utilities, drainage, earthworks, and public realm projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the measurement, pricing, and valuation of civil engineering works
  • Support with the preparation of tender documents, bills of quantities, and cost plans
  • Help prepare interim valuations and final accounts
  • Work alongside project teams to monitor costs, budgets, and progress
  • Assist in subcontractor procurement, payments, and account management
  • Gain exposure to contract administration (NEC/FIDIC/Irish public works contracts)
  • Maintain commercial records and assist with monthly reporting
  • Attend site visits in Dublin to support the QS team with progress tracking
  • Learn how to prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and project reconciliations
Requirements
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or Commercial Management (or nearing completion)
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Good IT skills (Microsoft Excel essential; exposure to CostX, Cubit, or similar beneficial)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Interest in developing a career in civil engineering and infrastructure projects
  • Willingness to travel between Meath base and Dublin project sites
